The XSplit XS30-80 separator combines the proven concept of screw press separators with a completely new design, resulting in high throughput and separation performance of up to 175 m³/h, as well as unique features and many advantages for the user.
Design
In developing the XS30-80, Vogelsang has taken the innovative concept of the XSplit to a new level without compromising the many advantages and unique features of the XSplit: The drive is mounted on the solids side, which means that no extra shaft seal is required. This reduces the cost of wear parts and the time required for maintenance work. In addition, the screen basket and screw can be accessed in just a few simple steps. Service and maintenance work can be carried out quickly and easily on site.
Powerful and economical separation
Plug formation is automatic and virtually leak-free, without the need for additional tools. This is made possible by the XSplit's unique VarioAdjust closure system. It provides optimum resistance to the pressure of the screw and, together with the press screw, ensures uniform and reliable plug formation. Users can put the XSplit into operation without much preparation or effort. Together with various screen variants, the XSplit can also be optimally adapted to the properties of the medium to be separated and the desired properties of the solids can be set. The XSplit achieves dry matter contents of up to 40 percent.
VarioAdjust – precise adjustment and separation
VarioAdjust is the innovative hydraulic closure unit from Vogelsang that gives you full control over the solids discharge, the dry matter content, and the separation result. The robust closure cone builds up the solids plug precisely and continuously controls its size, regardless of the solids load. Adjustment is easy using a hydraulic pump. You benefit from consistently optimal separation.
Easy and flexible to adjust
While conventional systems require tools and manual adjustments, VarioAdjust allows you to easily adjust the separator directly during operation without having to stop the XSplit. An invaluable added value.
